After months of research and outreach to NGOs, Lightning For Learning has finally embarked on Phase 1 of our Rohingya Refugee Project.
We are currently in the midst of our capacity building project in Cox’s Bazar. The project will entail providing solar-based livelihoods and the upgrade of WASH facilities in 8 of the 16 United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) managed camps in Cox’s Bazar.
According to the UNHCR, as of June, 2019 there were 436,451 Rohingya refugees residing in UNHCR managed camps.
Our organization is currently seeking donations to fund this project and we would greatly appreciate your contributions to this cause. Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps us reach our goal of providing for the needs of the Rohingya in the refugee settlements.
For US residents, do note that all donations made to our organization are 100% tax-deductible.
