Greetings everyone. My name is Vikram Jayakumar and I've been a Project manager with Lighting For Learning for the past 1 and a half years. I am pleased to announce that Lighting For Learning is launching a new initiative to raise funds. Introducing our "Dollar A Month" program where donors help support our cause by donating $1 USD a month.
Of course, you still can donate a lump sum and/or donate more than a dollar a month but given Covid-19, we understand that this might not be possible for some. As such, we have rolled out this new initiative to facilitate your continuous support. To make a monthly donation of a dollar, head to our donate page and click the donate button. Key in $1.00 and remember to tick the box that states "make this a monthly donation."
Your monthly dollar will help our efforts for a few projects we have lined up. Our most immediate initiative is a proof-of-concept for our solar dairy project in India - and we need your help in making it into a reality. We aim to increase the production capacity of dairy farmers through the incorporation of solar-refrigeration systems.
